Delegates reviewed achieved results while pointing out limitations and proposing solutions to continue to boost the campaign.
They agreed to further promote supporting industries for the sustainable development of the domestic production and to reduce dependence on imported raw materials.
In addition, it is also necessary to effectively implement projects on developing national brands and enhancing the competitiveness of domestic goods so that Vietnamese goods will not only conquer Vietnamese people but also the global market.
Tran Thanh Man, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and Head of the Central Steering Committee for the campaign, said that various practical activities have been carried out over the past years to implement the campaign, demonstrating the efforts, patriotism and self-reliance of Vietnamese authorities and enterprises.
Man asked for the involvement of more than four million overseas Vietnamese in promoting the consumption of Vietnamese goods abroad.
He also proposed the renewals of marketing and advertising methods to raise people’s awareness of the campaign and their use of Vietnamese goods.
